Manage Shipping and Delivery
Here’s how you can manage your shipping and delivery settings in Windo. In Shipping & Delivery settings, you can manage the shipping timeline, delivery charges, shipping modes, and shipping partners.
Shipping & Delivery Settings
To find shipping and delivery settings, follow the steps below.
Open the Windo app.
Tap on Settings in the bottom menu.
Tap on Shipping & Delivery under Shop Settings.
Shipping Timeline
Here, you can set the estimated delivery timeline of your items for customers. You can set the minimum and maximum minutes, hours, or days it takes to get the item ready and ship. Estimate the time taken for packaging, dispatch, shipping, and delivery.
Tap on Settings in the bottom menu.
Tap on Shipping & Delivery.
Tap on Shipping Timeline.
Enter the minimum number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks it takes to get the item ready and ship in the first field.
Enter the maximum number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks it takes to get the item ready and ship in the second field.
Once you’ve set minimum and maximum shipping time, you can view the estimated delivery timeline of all items below.
Tap Save once you create a timeline.
Delivery Charges
You can set appropriate delivery charges for your orders in the delivery charges settings. You can choose between multiple delivery charge options. Follow the steps below to set up delivery charges for your online store.
Open the Windo app.
Tap on Settings in the bottom menu.
Tap on Shipping & Delivery under Shop Settings.
Tap on Delivery Charges.
Delivery Charge Options
Free delivery: Choose Free delivery to offer free-of-cost delivery.
Fixed Delivery Charge: Choose Fixed Delivery Charge to set fixed delivery costs on all items. Set an item value to offer free delivery above that rate. This field is optional.
Delivery Charge by Order Value: You can set minimum and maximum order values to charge a fixed delivery rate for a specific order value range in a premium plan. Tap Add to complete.
Delivery charge by Distance: You can set delivery charges by distance range in a premium plan.
To set delivery charges by distance range, you must add your shop address in Address under Shop settings.
You must set a minimum and maximum order value to set delivery charges by distance.
Next, choose a distance range for which you want to charge delivery.
Set the rate under the Delivery charge field.
Tap Add to complete.
Tap Save once you’ve set delivery charges.
Shipping Modes
Under shipping modes settings, you can choose to offer delivery, pickup, or both options for customers. Add your shop address in the pickup options to allow customers to pick up their orders from your store.
You can find the Shipping Modes setting in Settings.
Tap on Settings in the bottom menu.
Tap on Shipping & Delivery under Shop Settings.
Tap on Shipping Modes.
You can choose Delivery, Pickup, or both to offer customers.
In Delivery, you can set a minimum or maximum order value for delivery services.
In Pickup, add your shop address here for customers to pick up orders from your shop. If you have already added your address in the Address settings, you don’t have to add it here again.
Tap Both to combine the above options and offer customers delivery and pickup services.
Shipping partners
In Shipping Partners, you can integrate with third-party shipping partners to handle delivery and pickup services for your store.
You can find the Shipping Partners setting in Settings.
Tap on Settings in the bottom menu.
Tap on Shipping & Delivery under Shop Settings.
Tap on Shipping Partners.
Tap Connect on a delivery partner available for your country.
Follow the steps you see to integrate with a shipping partner in your Windo account.
Tap Connect below once you’re ready to get started.
